  • Logos

  • The use of logos in print provides an instant recognition that the paper used has strong environmental attributes. Only one of the forest certifications logos can be used on a printed job – either FSC or PEFC. Otherwise a forest certification logo can be used in conjunction with a Carbon Balanced logo and a Recycling logo.

Logos can also be used with publication statements.

  • Carbon Balanced Paper

The World Land Trust Carbon Balanced logo can be used if the paper used in print has been purchased as Carbon Balanced. The logo can be used with FSC or PEFC logos and recycling logos.

Denmaur Paper Media is a World Land Trust partner, and an authorised Carbon Balanced paper supplier, so contact them directly or through your print provider for your preferred artwork.

The following grades: Revive, Arctic Snow, Amadeus, Innovation Digital and Delipac are Carbon Balanced at source, otherwise any grades offered by the Denmaur group can be Carbon Balanced.

  • 100% Post Consumer Waste

Recycled paper claims can vary. There's part recycled, 50% recycled and 75% recycled, all of which are valid environmental claims when combined with forest certified virgin paper fibre.

When it comes to 100% recycled paper, ensure the recycled pulp is made from 100% post-consumer waste.

Technically, it is possible to obtain 100% recycled grades that are made from a combination of pre and post-consumer waste, or simply just pre consumer waste. However, the principle of recycled paper is that it makes use of the recyclability of paper fibre, post consumption. It makes use of a viable resource that would have otherwise gone to landfill, and post-consumer waste pulp also enables the diversification of virgin fibre for alternative uses, such as hygiene products and plastic-free packaging solutions.

The 100% post-consumer waste stamp is therefore a true recognition of circularity and sustainability.
